AFC 2023+ Future Presenter Competition
Welcome to the AFC Future Presenter Competition
The purpose of this Competition is to give an up-and-coming fitness professional teacher the opportunity to win the title of “AFC Future Presenter,”
receive a guaranteed chance to present at AFC 2024+, and receive various other valued fitness prizes from sponsors. The AFC Future Presenter contest gives a future fitness presenter the chance to “fast-track” his or her career and be seen by the best with valuable, free feedback from a panel of esteemed international judges, which is priceless.
The winner is guaranteed:
- a slot as a presenter at AFC 2024+ for one session
- coverage on all AFC press releases
- gifts
- photo opportunities
- mentoring from select judges
Eligibility:
Individuals who may apply to enter the competition must:
- Submit a complete application before October 6th 2023
- Be registered as a 2- or 3-day delegate at AFC 2023
- Be able to teach in English or Thai
- NOT be current international fitness presenters or have current DVD or television shows that are professionally produced and syndicated. Individuals who have appeared ALONE onstage TEACHING and PRESENTING at any professional fitness conference ARE NOT ELIGIBLE to enter the competition, whether sponsored or not.
On-site Process:
“On Saturday, October 21st,” There will be theup to (10) ten candidates who successfully apply online will present a 3 minute “mini-session” replica of any type of class in front of conference delegates (peers) and a panel of international judges. These 3 minutes are not a warm-up or final stretch, but an exciting part of a session, be it a workout, workshop or lecture. Immediately following each presentation, our esteemed panel of AFC Judges will give candid, short feedback about the presentation, for all to hear. This feedback alone is worth going through the entire experience.
There will be the TOP TWO FINALISTS named at the end of the first round. These will be asked to rerun their session a second time immediately, incorporating the feedback they have just received. The competition will then end and the judges will make their decision and announce the WINNER.
At the Saturday Night Party, the AFC Future Presenter 2023+ will be announced to all attending delegates and will form part of the entertainment line-up, performing on stage. This is a chance to be “discovered” as a future presenter.
